Never find yourself short of business cards again!
Design your business cards
Open the Template Manager application.
You will be presented with a welcome screen (Fig 1). Select 'Create new document'.
Select 'Business cards' then click 'Select'.
You now have the view of a blank business card, on which to create your design.
TIP! You can switch between this view and 'Full page', which will allow you to see a whole page of business cards with your design. See point 8.To place a shape on your business card, simply drag and drop from the shape window (Fig 2) onto the business card. To resize the shape, click and hold down one of the corner green markers, then drag until it is the size you require. Additionally, if you would like to fill your shape with a colour or design, click the paint bucket icon at the right of the screen (Fig 3).
To add text to your business card click the text icon in the left side toolbar. This looks like a letter 'T' (Fig 4). Click on the business card and begin to type (Fig 5). Again you can resize this textbox by clicking and dragging the corner green blocks.
To change the font size and style of your text, simple change the options on the right side of the screen. To adjust the position of your text, use the arrows on your keyboard. This will nudge the section of text up, down, left and right.
At the bottom of the screen you will see two tabs 'Master Design' and 'Full Page'. Master Design is the mode that you are currently in, showing only one business card. 'Full Page' will show you a preview of a whole page of business cards with the design that you have just created.
Print your business cards
When you are ready to print, click the print icon in the top taskbar.
In the print window, select your printer (Fig 8). This will automatically set the settings in the corresponding print driver so that you do not need to manually do this yourself.
Go to the printer and place the business card paper face up into the multi purpose tray. The printer display will tell you when it is ready and you will need to press the 'online' button (Fig 9).
Your business cards will now print, perfectly aligned!
